This is because strikes can create economic pressure, raise public awareness, and serve as a final means of protest.

　　First, strikes can create economic pressure on employers. When workers stop their services, it disrupts a company’s operations and causes financial losses. This pressure often forces management to listen to the workers’ demands and negotiate an agreement.

　　Secondly, a strike is a powerful way to raise public awareness. A large number of workers going on strike can draw public attention and gain support for their cause. For instance, strikes by nurses often highlight serious issues in their sector that the public might not be aware of, putting pressure on governments and companies to act.

　　Finally, the right to strike serves as a final, crucial means of protest. In situations where other negotiations have failed, a strike is the only remaining option for workers to express their frustration. Without this right, employees would have very little power to improve their conditions or prevent unfair treatment.
